Why BOM discipline decides the job

Most board-assembly problems trace back to the BOM: ambiguous parts, unobtainable components, alternates nobody approved. A complete BOM with manufacturer part numbers — and a stated policy for alternates — removes the single largest source of delay before assembly begins.

Inspection you can point at

"Inspected" should mean something specific: defined checkpoints during and after assembly, criteria that come from your documentation, and results that are recorded. If your quality system requires specific inspection points, they are written into the job plan before the first board runs.

Test strategy in one paragraph

What files do you need for a PCB assembly quote?

Gerber or board files, the bill of materials with approved parts, assembly drawings and any special work instructions. For testing, your test requirements or fixtures.

Can you source components for us?

Component sourcing models are agreed per job — you can consign parts, or ask for turnkey sourcing. Raise your preference in the enquiry.

What testing do you perform on assembled boards?

Testing is defined per job. Where you provide test requirements or fixtures, agreed functional checks are performed; as a baseline, assembled boards receive inspection at defined checkpoints.

Do you handle mixed through-hole and SMT boards?

Board technology and component mix are confirmed during enquiry against your design.

What about low-volume prototype runs?

Prototype and small runs are part of the service. Send the requirement and we will confirm directly.

Do you support panelised boards?

Panelisation and depaneling requirements are confirmed against your board files during enquiry — include the panel drawing where one applies.
